Classic encroachment! Looks like they tried to smidsy a bloody train.

And another at Fort William!
Meanwhile, Scotrail has also reported that another car is on the railway line at Fort William.

It's not the car's fault. The fencing forgot to check it had a ticket.

Took me a while to even work out how they did that at Stirling Station! There's a car park but with (I thought) fairly sturdy barriers and a row of planters. This picture shows where they went through the barrier - wheel marks show it must have been at some speed? Maybe went into first instead of reverse and just kept the foot down? Or pulling into space and put foot on accelerator rather than brake? Very odd.

A car has set itself on fire by driving itself into the barrier when it was trying to drive itself up the great western road in the Weege.
In the car’s defence that is a tricky junction to get off the M8 from. If the car is not paying attention it has to get over 4 lanes of other cars to get to the slip road.

Spotted a car parked on the fence/hedge bordering Musselburgh Racecourse along Linkfield Road this morning.
It had a sign "Police Aware" stuck on the side. Perhaps "Road Aware" would be of better use.Posted 4 years ago # -
Cars are forever doing this....

"...it was unclear what had happened to the car."

Car flips onto its roof in residential street in Glasgow.
Incredible if true.
Edit: Must read recent posts in thread before posting :(

Looks like those autonomous bus trials went ahead after all? Maybe need to "tweak" the programming a bit so they don't randomly leave the road.....well no mention of a driver so must be autonomous?

Tragic case here for the two car occupants. Seems like no driver involved - another autonomous vehicle leaving the road? Software bug, perhaps.

Incredible deflection in this report. Apparently "a woman, 21, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving" but otherwise no mention of a driver. What really raised my eyebrows was this sentence.
"Residents blame the crashes on a sharp bend on Hungarton Boulevard, which forms part of Leicester's ring road"
And then here's the coup de grace. The consensus is it's the road's fault. And those cars just can't help but crash themselves. Nothing to do with driver behaviour. (Though I do agree it seems some safety measures may be required).
---
Mr Thathyala said: "A neighbour told me this happened to the same house a few years ago. Exactly the same situation, same house. This is a busy road and at night - when it is quiet people speed down here. This is not safe for anybody. There needs to be some safety measures."
Resident Moira Hampton said: "This may be the eighth time or more this bend on the ring road has contributed to damaging properties. Cars have driven off both sides of the road. This is the first time such a serious injury has happened. Residents, including me, are furious and terrified that somebody will be hurt again, or even killed."
Claudia Webbe, Independent MP for Leicester East, said: "The fact you are inside your own home and you are not safe means that this road is too dangerous and it needs to be made safer."

This was a very bad Range Rover with a bald front tyre, no tax and a driver trying to kill people whilst also holding her phone

The no tax bit is (apparently) untrue - misread digit.

No mention of a driver at the wheel of this car. Autonomous vehicles mowing down pedestrians again?

This might be appropriate here.

District judge John Zani agreed. Throwing the case out, he told the court: “I have given this careful consideration because it is an interesting point of law.
