CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Need a hand again?
Yes.... welcome to help out. Payment in ICE boxes ;-)
Rabidhamster will be there plus a representative of The Bicycle Works. Pedi-cab folk are around too again.
Time wise we are very early start on Sunday. Will be going back with tandem at end of day.
Still recovering from cycling back last year when you'd just got your Croix de Fer!
"plus a representative of The Bicycle Works"
if they have people to send out there, why is it everytime* I go in, I'm told 'we're shortstaffed, no chance of getting it done' :(
*yesterday and today
Sorry you're having problems there SRD.
I'm employing the person in question directly on their day off - so my mention of the Bicycle Works was misleading.
They are under pressure as one member of TBW staff is on paternity leave for next two weeks. My booking of a staff member was done a few weeks ago.
What work do your require?
Another ace day out. Started with the easiest run out to East Fortune ever. The morning's wind was silly strong and if I hadn't been on the stiff little fixer I suspect I could have turned the pedals once every never and still got there in good time.
Before the punters arrived, I was persuaded by Hannah of Bike Works to keep almost falling off a recumbent until I actually got the knack. By the end of the day I was actually pretty mediocre, which for someone with DEX score is rather hot stuff.
One of LaidBack's recent customers is this chap. If he was a dog he'd be a Newfoundland. If Newfoundlands were really good at Judo.
The stand, as seen from an amusingly retro-decor Comet.
Thanks to Dave for letting me come along and keeping me topped up with noms and caffeine.
Thanks to all including Uberuce, Rabid, Chris Sherrington (deliverong tea by trike using motorbike pannier boxes!), Hannah, Becky, Robert, Irene and anyone else I missed....
Set of shots here... we had people waiting so most pics were taken when it got quieter....
