@gembo yes bike was stolen! I was and am still in shock.
I will start a new thread on this and post a picture. The bike has a white/grey frame with silver mudguards and magnetic dynamo lights on each wheel.
Bike reported stolen and Lothian's (or Scotland's) finest on the case.
The cake will have to wait

Such a shame. Like gembo I was hoping that was not how sentence would end.
Make sure you let bike shops know. Also Facebook lovage for stolen bikes inedinburgh. We can also tweet once you post details.

Colleague in Joppa has had 3 bikes stolen recently, and her house burgled, all at different times (probably by same thugs). She is thoroughly fed up with it.

Investing in CCTV first thing tomorrow. Only way to beat the thugs. Bike was lifted from communal bike shed.
