That bit has annoyed me for years. I guess it's being left in that state as it does make you slow down when you're heading Leithwards, thus making the entry to the path from those coming down the slope a little less hazardous.
I'd like them to get rid of the vegetation around the slope so it was easier to check if anyone's coming down it as you approach their exit.
I'd also like the vegetation removed around the junction to Wester Coates. It's very hard to see left and right as you come on to the NEPN there.
