I fancy the sound of the place. One gembo can't all be wrong, after all.

I suspect its more like : Bearduary, Beardbuary, Beardarch, Beapril, Beay, Bearune, Bearduly, Beaugust, Beardtember, Beardtober, Beardvember & Beardecember.

15th Nov should be good for me, I'll have to be there very early in order to get off in a reasonable time for work, but could cycle in with Dave on his commute.

Their hours seem to be 9am to 10pm. Is this a lunchtime or evening thing?

I'd be happier with an after work meet up. We could have a small eve meal there. Depending on numbers, we may have to reserve a table.

It's small and busy (although very excellent food) in the evenings.

I could certainly do coffee on the way home. 9am is too late for me to make my desk...

I think they indicated that, with prior notice, they could open early (730AMish) as they would be in anyway preparing for the day. Gembo could confirm.

I was cycling to the Wood's one day,
In the merry merry month of Beay...

They said they would open early for us as they are setting up for the day it is true. The time Kaps and I sat in the window seat on their wi fi I was there before them but they were just arriving. If we commit to the date they will open. Again if we go for an evening rendezvous we could let them know. When I cycled past tonight Ali was in charge and the fairy lights were on. It looks niceinnthe dark but dark. Obviously if we met up after work for tea that would suit me and dave on our doorsteps and maybe the workers of the west of Edinburgh who could pop in on the way home. I imagine I could book a table if there is any interest? Could probably do a Thursday morning innwoodsmdelimfor bearded gentle persons.

    Too many variables?

I posit that we thrash out the AM/PM and date thingmy here, then request a lock and start a new thread.

We've done the sit-down civilised meal thingmy less often than morning coffee or evening bevvy, and it seems our scheduling compatibility is better after work than before.

Thus I vote for a post-work dindins. If it's after 1830, I am easy for any day.

My vote would be Fri am before 8. May also be able to do Fri pm after 4. Can't do other days.

Fri pm is good for me too. Early mornings are difficult as I come in from Fife & I have to be in work by around 9am.

    To move this forward

A table for me, charterhall, uberuce and dave c at 18.31 on Friday the 15th of November does not contradict expressed availability.

I can book this but obviously people need to commit? We can just turn up that involves less commitment .

    More chat?

I'm afraid 18.30 is too late for me, if pm I was hoping for something between 4 and 5ish.

I could possibly make this (though am reluctant to commit just now. The downside is that I would be in cycling kit which had been cycled to Livingston in, dumped in a locker all day, and then cycled two-thirds of the way back. So you might have to make me sit outside with the smokers...
