What about the hard-pressed hard-working cyclists?
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Cake is cheaper in Asda too.
Lowest prices in 30 months. War on motorist. etc.
Supermarket Wars. I wonder if the price of derv has come down too, and they will, of course, pass on lower transport costs by price cutting on the shelves. Some live in hope or could be considered deluded!
Ah, I remember the days (not too long ago) when the chance of petrol breaking the £1 per litre mark was looked upon as the end of civilisation as we knew it. Turns out we all had a lot more disposable income than we thought. Or that we fear change. Or both.
UK Government has been looking at lowering other motoring costs. I dare say the electioneering has begun!

Morrisons drops price of Unleaded below £1 / litre. War on Motorist, etc. etc.
The original post by chdot was a 30-month low, 24 months ago of £1.26 / litre. So we're at the very least at a 54 month low.
Wonderful news for everyone.
BROOM BRROOM!
Of course a guy on the TV this morning was still whining about how petrol was still more expensive here than everywhere else.
Meanwhile in Paris (and effectively the rest of the world too):
It's only weather, isn't it? Poop poop!
