It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

4.15 this evening, at roundabout about where the Volvo is on Streetview
and the cyclist was on the road approx where the Volvo bonnet is - not moving, so I think it just happened.
Hopefully nobody here, but regardless didnt look in great shape, hope they are ok - lots of people were around on mobiles etc so presume ambulance etc was on way.
Bit of a sickener.

:( not me, but I can well imagine how it might have happened in the dark. It's a bad roundabout and even when it's snarled up you occasionally get some idiot barrelling around it to pull into the housing estate.
Not me either, though this is the time I normally head round that roundabout. In a twist of fate, I decided to head to Decathlon tonight to finally buy a new front light to replace my reaching-the-end current one so never touched this roundabout.
I really hope this isn't as serious as I suspect it may have been. Wishes of speedy recovery a plenty.
Hope they're okay. Will do a rollcall of the cyclists in the office tomorrow.
I've had at least one near miss on this roundabout (a taxi driver who was looking at his phone)
Horrible roundabout. Traffic along the Broadway barely has to slow to negotiate it and I've seen quite a few boy racers deliberately drifting their cars through it - it could almost have been designed for minimal interruption to traffic speed, safety be damned.
If you're cycling out of the Crescent in order to go east along Broadway, you've got to negotiate fast Broadway traffic from 2 directions and cross an additional exit leading to the train station, classic scenario for cars in a hurry to the pick up / drop off.
Hope the cyclist is ok.
