    Do we think any particular wards have a higher proportion of cyclists over 16/18? If such wards exist then cycling could be a way of swinging votes?

    Judging by the cycling map of Edinburgh, the local councillors seem to have twigged already that cyclists are a vocal and troublesome group that are best kept inside the tent.

    Actually, I'm not sure Ben Page even has a car. I can ask him if you like.

    @insto, maybe he's a militant pedestrian or hardened taxi user? Would be interesting to know.
