Holyrood Park Road Closures: Xmas

  1. Same press release appears to have been sent out as previously. Roads closed on 25th and 26th, then 1st and the 2nd. NOT the High Road.

    Same line of "We want to encourage people to use the park in a safer, traffic-free environment and have fun over the festive period," which again to me reads as, "We know the park isn't safe for people normally but we're going to do nothing about the traffic then anyway, so nerr"

    Yeah I seen that. Maybe they could act on that thought and actually make it a park and not a bypass.

    Or they could set a 20mph speed limit for the St Margarets entrance to Holyrood stretch.

    I drove through there today with my driving instructor diligently sticking to the 20mph limit. Interesting how two taxis managed to overtake me without breaking the speed limit!

    Edinburgh truly sucks when you're a learner sticking to the posted limits!

    Ah yes...

    The MUST GET PAST also works for learners as well as cyclists
