Sgt Maurice McCabe and now-retired John Wilson had claimed that senior police officers had inappropriately wiped the penalty points from the driving licences of often well-connected offenders.

Of course that would never happen here.

Drivers don't need points removed from their licences when they can just keep driving no matter how many they have.

Apropos what Min said... MP/Minister get their wife to claim their points only for it all to go south when said wife is discarded and they both end up in the nick.
