    Story just seems to be based on a patent that Apple have registered. Sounds like it would be a tricky thing to get to work reliably. You would probably want an option to turn it off but that would defeat the purpose.

    I doubt it will happen.

    I've never used, or been in, a car with touch screen stuff but it doesn't seem like a good idea. I don't need to look for things like heater controls because a) they are big solid knobs which I can feel and b) they don't work anymore.

    A wee bit Finbarr Saunders there.
