I've a lovely pair of sunnies at home that I haven't worn for over a year (Specialized Cortina - not sold anymore). However the hinge broke went dropped. Specifically the "male" end on one arm - the plastic bit that wraps around the metal thingamajig.

I can put a photo up if that helps (tomorrow).

I did try and buy a used pair on ebay but they don't come cheap (enough).

@amir had similar with Adidas Evileyes. Got in touch with a supplier and I got a new hinge for £8 including postage. These were the "old" evil eyes too i.e. also no longer sold.

gluing doesn't help without something solid like a bit of metal to provide structure. Some stiff wire and a tiny drill bit and some epoxy and you might be able to fix them in the open position...
