Hi guys,
looking for any advice folk may have on cycling from Edinburgh to Troon to get the ferry over to belfast.
Cyclestreets have suggested this route - Edinburgh - Troon
Is this an ok route? Has anyone cycled down to Troon before who has tips or suggestions?
Thanks for any advice - this will be my longest ride in years! Once I get to belfast I've got about 200 miles ahead of me, so despite the lack of fitness I'm looking forward to it!

The eaglesham moor bit will be nice many wind turbines now. The A89 from bAthgate to airdrie also good. The rest is quite busy.?
