Statistics of 'safe cycling' (part 2)

    Last week's BBC Radio 4 programme More or Less had a piece on h*lm*ts which re-ignited a certain debate here.

    This week's programme looked at further stats relating to cycling.

    Again a certain lack of relevant statistics was a slight problem, but overall conclusion was that "risks of cycling exaggerated".

    Public Health researcher Jennifer Mindell put a lot of issues in context.

    OK, I'll stick with the "no passport and can't afford a new one" excuse.
