Oh aye, this afternoon I saw what I think was a pollster interviewing a voter at the top of Easter Road, outside the polling station.

It'll be annoying if there were no exit polls, because there will be SFA to go on until the first declaration.

Think I'll probably crash out now and set an alarm for 3?

Sorry to lower the tone, but expect 'Breaking News' on this at around 10.01pm...

"A former Merseyside council leader was arrested and charged with assault as she campaigned against Scottish independence at a polling station in Glasgow.

Marie Rimmer, who has been on St Helens council for more than three decades, was held after, the ECHO understands, a woman was kicked at a community centre in the Shettleston area of Glasgow around lunchtime as Scots turned out to cast their vote in the landmark referendum."

    Well the voting is over.

    The wait is on.

The final verdict will be here -

Thanks... unfortunately SWMBO couldn't be persuaded and cancelled out my vote :s

Keeping my fingers crossed although tbh I really expect a swing to 'no' on the day, since I can't picture many people turning up and going "well, what they hey, I may as well vote yes", but easy to imagine the reverse?

Don’t know if it’s a good idea to revive this thread or add this link to CV thread, but this might be a significant development

    Or not
