    That's it.

    Whatever has happened has happened.

    The poling stations have closed.

If you just got let inside the doors you can still vote.

Probably not a lot of certainty until after 5:00.

If you're up all night you might want to add to this thread -

Or just be the first person to report the final verdict!

IPSOS MORI confirm that their opinion polls are no longer valid if turnout in Scotland hits 80% I suspect these extra voters will go for Yes

    Hmmm....

I'll stay up for the first few, work tomorrow......or....oh I'm too old for all nighters! Maybe. ;-)

Will C4 be on the roof of that building on Princes Street all night?

THE impending referendum forces me to reflect on who I am. What is my identity? Have I had a constant identity or has it changed over the years? Am I Scottish or British or both? Or am I something more? Does identity have to be equated with nationality?

Kellner from YouGov just on Newsnight predicting 54/46 for No. He says 90% certain on the basis of an online poll after the vote.

    Let's see, eh?

Ben Page and I laughed at that. Poll estimates based on 95% of respondents saying they were certain to vote.

00:45. I'm beginning to get a vibe from the BBC feed that it might be going OK for No. Early days yet.....

Right. I'm off to bed with the alarm set for 5am to watch the last counts come in, which made me think; there will be a lot of very tired (and possibly emotional) people out on the roads tomorrow. Cycle safely, and make sure you get home to our new/old independence/union (delete as appropriate).

Have a good one, whichever way you went.

Things not looking so good as the first results come in. I should be in bed but have a morbid fascination, it's like watching the country give up hope and die in slo-mo :)

As a no voter for almost all of the campaign until the negatively pushed me the other way, I'm finding it surprisingly depressing.

Depending on who wins there will be cycle lane on every street or a tram on every street in the morning.

Annoyed they keep talking as though Yes voters are only ones who want reform, when the whole point of no 'vow' was to bribe voters wanting reform.
