I've got to be at the western general pretty early tomorrow - outpatient bldg 'please enter the hospital by the porter field rd entrance off crewe rd south. I'll be heading there via Russell Rd NEPN.

Will I see bike parking fairly easily? Or do I need to add in time to locate it?

Lots to see - usually plenty early on, esp amongst the really long racks tucked in the corner of the multi-storey.

Lots of racks if you go past the minor injuries clinic (on your left) and anne ferguson (on your right) it is up at whatever the building facing you is. Can't recall its name, but plenty of racks there. There were others too that I went past when getting to those.

You'll probably be fine in the morning, afternoon evenings seem to be pretty busy.

This seems to be the main thread for the Western General, although there are a couple of more recent, specific threads:

I'm due to visit OPD and have been Google Streetviewing around the place and looking on OSM. Any opinions on the most suitable parking for a torpedo, given that the weather may be horrible, or am I better to ride a slower bike?

Those ones between the Anne Ferguson and Royal Victoria buildings are probably the most spacious/accessible - the ones covered in the car park might be fiddly to get into without a tight turning cirle and the ones opposite are close to a wall.
