Does anyone know a Gas Safe fitter who would like to make some easy money? I've got an exposed gas pipe to our living room fire that I want capped off.
I did try a couple of people but it must be too small a job or something, because the quotes were a bit of a laugh. I would give up my career and retrain if that was really the going rate for closing up a pipe and doing a leak test.
A neighbour of mine might, if paid in beer. Well, when I say beer, I mean budweiser, so not beer at all. I shall enquire.
Not genuine Budweiser then from ceske budejovice classic Pilsener? But American beer now made in burton?
Thanks Kenny. I managed to find a local guy last night via another informed source, so I'm all good. It's good to know that there are still people who work for beer (or "beer", depending what sort of Bud we're talking about).
