"There were 3,530 pedal cyclist KSIs in the year ending June 2014,
an increase of 10 per cent compared to the previous year. There
were 5,510 motorcylist KSIs, an increase of 7 per cent."

Pedestrian KSIs down 0.4 %; Car user KSIs up 4%.

    Motor traffic levels up 1.7%.

A sad side effect of the economy coming out recession: increased car sales; increased driving; increased death and destruction.

Can we please stop this insanity now? Thanks.

Nope it all adds to GDP and that's ALL that matters.

(Though the recent adding in of drugs and prostitution led to a higher EU bill. So...)
