The last one was pleasant, so I decree the date/time parlay open for the EmDeePeeEmEsAGeeAye open.

Shall we go for a civilised midweek event rather than the full-on Great[Uncle] Boo's Up that the last one became?

Captain! It appears a drinkoral vortex is appearing around the Golden Rule on Tuesday the 9th at 8pm. Already SRD, Uberuce, MeepMeep and ARobComp's vessels have been trapped.

Send all available ships to assist!

Will this venue by accessible via the (grand) Union Canal?

(Or might that be an escape route post drink?)

I can vouch for the extreme or indeed totally immersive accessibility of the canal after enough post-Rule drinks.

Don't make the mistakes I've made, son.

Tuesday 9th 7pm on BBC2 Scotland, is when I make my debut on TV cycling furiously round Scotland in 100 hours*

*Actually 108hrs but who is counting.

IANAAudaxer, but I suppose I might be furious if I exceeded the maximum time by eight hours.

Though with my long distance fitness, I'd probably consider +8 hours a good day!

I really enjoyed the Argyll Event but I won't make this. My old dear is down for a few days and there's gravel to be shovelled out of the living room.

Ivor Cutler was on the Cerys matthews show on Sunday morning. Well a recorded imprint of his voice doing what I thought was Life in a Scotch Living Room (Gravel Store variety) but was something else from his album from 1974 - Dandruff

Can't make tomorrow either bu am bringing the jeely to PY 19.12.14 hope you can make that.

    @gembo

I shall endeavour to make the 19/12/2014 PY coffee morning. I finish up here on Friday, so hopefully won't have drifted too far off work timings by then.

I'd watch you, Dave, but my cable box is in Roslin and thus I haven't the means.

MeepMeep, I trust your sledgehammer transport plans are beyond reproach?

Lovely to see everyone. Got a nice musette bag from benevolent father christmas disguised as chdot.

Got caught in that squall heading home -soaked to the skin in about 1 minute and rather chilly. Luckily I was wearing good waterproof and some hefty shorts!
