I made a slightly tongue-in-cheek video after the (predictable) response to the clip of Laid-Back's radio trip on Facebook. I've been meaning to do something like it for ages.
Starring our very own DaveC and Laid-Back (and me!)...
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

PS. in the photo above there are actually two bikes, although you can't see them because they are recumbents. One is to the right of the shot beside the blue parked car, the other is just firing past on the pavement, behind the wheelie bins.
I think... it's so hard to remember! You can see why these guys are constantly getting killed. In fact, I've never let on that I personally got run over at least 17 times just getting my recumbent out of the garage the other day.
There's an invisible Mini in there too somewhere, but you can't see it because it isn't wearing Hi-viz
Main points posted in the blog.
Camera on this is quite high up of course.
And we all know that being high up means that things below you are smaller and more (or is that less?) visible! One of these bikes is actually lower than the other so should be harder to see from a higher view point... actually... Dave's obviously doctored the contrast on this! ;-)
If he had filmed from a normal car height then we would be clearly able to see the full extent of the 'not quite total invisibility' in action.
