IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 14years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Good grief. I've seen down the tip before ("Sorry mate, no you can't fetch it out, health and safety innit, gone mad it has"); but in a communal bin???
Small chance it was stolen.
@chdot - it was unrideable and looks like it had been for some time. The stairwells are full of unloved bikes, but to be so lazy and wasteful as to just throw is away in a bin is pretty pathetic but sadly consistent with other behaviour concerning recycling and bins etc...
@kaputnik - I suppose at least this way I was sure it was rubbish. I was just annoyed I couldn't dispose of my fridge freezer in there as the bike was taking up too much space.
Amazed it made it into the bin, preferred disposal method round our way of such "waste" items is to simply place them next to the bin. Or just in the middle of the pavement.
Yep. Flytipping next to the bin is the way round here also. Actually works quite well as an informal recycliing system: anything half usable does not sit out there for very long before an eagle yed person makes away with it!
