The consultation for 'School Streets for Edinburgh' has been launched. Edinburgh Council is proposing a pilot (18 months) scheme to restrict motor vehicle traffic in specifc streets outside fifteen schools in Edinburgh.
There are also details and maps in the following local libraries from today: Colinton, Drumbrae Hub, McDonald Road, Morningside, Newington, Oxgangs and Portobello, as well as Cramond Kirk Hall.

Please fill it in so we can push this through...

Same job, different office! My commute now terminates at the Foot o the Walk.

Maybe see you on the Tour of East Lothian in February?

The consultation for the proposed pilot to restrict motor vehicle traffic around certain schools closes on 27 February.

I think the proposals are a good start in encouraging more active travel for school kids.

Please submit a response via the link above so this pilot goes ahead.

    Thanks

  5. Maybe we should post a link to the consultation on the Say No To 20mph FB page so that this isn't as self-selecting... ;)
