When I'm looking for images the following things are important:

    - landscape or portrait (nice to have one of each)
    - photos which are not too dominated by helmets and hi vis (while reflecting the reality of cycling in the UK)
    - pictures of kids where the child isn't identifiable are always useful, as sometimes parents are a bit startled to discover their nipper on the front page of POP (apologies!)
    - shots that manage to capture the magnitude of the crowd at both ends
    - nice, sharp well-composed pictures of each of the speakers
    - plus a scattering of 'typical PoP' shots - someone in costume, home-made signs, improbable bikes, dogs, kids, trailers etc.

I got my druid on overnight.

It is handy having a monolith to the weather gods in the back garden.

Blocks the light something terrible though.

I would really like the sun to hang about for Saturday. I'm prepared to donate victims* to any ritual sacrifices planned to ensure a nice day.

*at least one colleague has annoyed me quite a lot this week...

The BBC forecast (on the box) was distinctly better (cross fingers, touch wood, etc), as is the forecast map for the region. The summary not as good (lag?). It will feel cold though!

We have extra Paper Bicycle for anyone in town without a bike. Very adjustable and chunky fun to ride (as opposed to clunky).

One has Fat Frank tyres - from the PB stand at the Berlin Bike Show. Any takers? (With ID of course!).

Can I have a go please? What time should we meet you at the shop?

    @LaidBack:

I would love a shot on it, but I know I would just want to buy it afterwards and my shed is already full and my bank account is not.

I will keep an eye out for it on Saturday though. Ogling is allowed I assume?

DaveC - yes. Do you actually want to take on ride? if so you mustn't wear lycra ;-)

I'm at shop as usual form 10.

Sally and others will be there too.

Cool we will be leaving Dalgety Bay at 11 and driving in. I shall wear comfortable clothing (non Lycra.) What time do you plan on leaving the shop?

Lesley Hinds has bought a bike specially for POP!

Hopefully she'll keep using it after Saturday, but it's a start.

Awww. Cute. Glad to see the PoP T-shirt being put to good use.

In other news, is it worth reminding/asking Strava users to log their PoP ride from start to finish? You won't get any KoM's, QoM's or PRs for the ride, but you will contribute to the totally awesome 'flyby' that was created last year...

Good shout @greenroofer. Please do log your ride on strava.

@greenroofer - I've scheduled a tweet from the POP account to ask people to do just that first thing tomorrow. Will send out a similar one now.

@greenroofer - is there any way of seeing that 'flyby'? I didn't realise it had been done...

Some at the middle of this thread

    Such as

    this one

It depends on who's ride is taken as the base as to who's ride gets pulled into it. You have to be with 50m I think.

If I leave mine on whilst I sell the Tshirts everyone should go past me so hope to get good coverage.
