    I cant get the show to work yet but this is nothing new.

    Diesels are better for global warming low CO2 but worse for local pollution. The silliest example is the London congestion charge that exempts many cars that produce more local pollution as its normally higher particle diesel version that is exempt due to lower CO2. Which although better for global warming so may make sense if driving around the highlands, is worse for lung conditions makes no sense in a congested city.
