Sneaking it in here and there; taking advantage of the outing/adventure and resting period cadence of life with smallish kids. I bump through it using the webcast chapter markers and speed controls (1.5x for most folk speaking) - having looked at the background of items the week before helps, as does having a bit of a ‘format’ already locked in. Probably four hours total or something like that all in.

The City of Edinburgh Council’s Transport and Environment Committee (or ‘TEC’) will meet this Thursday, 2nd April at 10am. As usual, we’ve scoured the agenda for cycling and road safety contents, and written up a summary of the agenda.
Thursday looks to be like a key day for the future of the Greenbank to Meadows quiet route, with a Green group motion [PDF] ensuring the clock can’t simply run out on this vital safe walking, wheeling and cycling corridor in the south of Edinburgh. But there’s as yet no sign of how the Labour administration plan to take this matter in hand.

David Hunter of Living Streets Edinburgh started his deputation by quoting from the introduction to the Council’s Active Travel Plan. Strangely, he managed to miss out the word “cycling” entirely from the “walking, wheeling, cycling” part

The cycle hangars motion from Cllr Munro (who else) is "interesting".
Trying to undermine the viability of the cycle hangar scheme by imposing costs on the scheme operator (unecessarily).
Notable that resurfacing /chip seal has been applied around parked cars before now.

There shouldn't be much damage to the road beneath the hangars, right? It's very possible that potholes were present and not fixed before a hangar was installed. But even then, it's unlikely that these potholes are causing any issues?

I did notice when I walked along Comiston Place that they hadn't resurfaced under the hanger but I quickly dismissed it as a non-issue. As Frenchy says there shouldn't be much damage under them and as there's no vehicle traffic going over that piece of tarmac so they shouldn't deteriorate much further.
AFAIK these hangers are now permanent, having been added under a TRO, so it'd only be an issue if they were all removed and the space returned to being parking. Which would require repairs anyway to fill the boltholes and in any case shouldn't happen...!

Oh indeed. It's a very bad-faith motion. But that's exactly to be expected from Cllr "I-have-no-interest-to-declare" Munro.
