Good service from them again today.

My crank was loose on my way to work, so I diverted there to see what they could do, as my puny mini-tool wasn't up to the job.

Greeted by a friendly bloke who took a look, then came out and tightened everything up there and then. No humming or hawing, no "too busy", no "need to book it in". All for the nominal sum of £2, with the advice to pop back if it continued to cause grief.

    Highly recommended.

They stuck a new tyre on the back of my town beastie today wih minimal fuss (rear wheel has a solid hub and needs a spanner to remove, so I wanted to put a puncture resistant tyre on to reduce sweary episodes; planned to chnage it myself but since they had time...) - allowing me to have lovely vietnamese style rice rolls for lunch while they did it and then pedal back to the office in the sun. I was happy!

I still go there as one of their guys is the best at tracking down random creaky noises I get form my roadie.

Only negative is everytime I come in with a BB issue they say ... "hmmm there is play in the pedals - is it not that"

    It's always the BB

Bikeworks has been very good to us over the years. Magnatom and I cleared out their range of bells on Friday pre-pop.
