So how would you spend it? Even buying at Laid Back you couldn't use that much!
Of course with £33million you could double the cycle network.
Most people buy a car or two and jet about though. Perhaps they will be different. I've heard they want to help flood victims.

Quite a sum and I don't envy their stress as people they haven't spoken to for years will want to congratulate them!

"Speaking at the Camelot press conference in Kirknewton, south of Edinburgh, David Martin went on: “The initial shock was surreal. If we’d won £50,000 we’d have been dancing round the living room. But the £33m is still really unbelievable. We just sat quietly and didn’t speak to each other for about five minutes.”

(Kirknewton moved to protect its identity)

I've never bought a lottery ticket for myself - although Mrs LB buys Postcode Lottery ones.

Seems odd the guardian use Kirknewton as the location when other news out lets refer to the Dalmahoy hotel which address may be kirknewton but sounds a bit odd.

You can always use it to fund a political party of your choice?

Ha, ha. You mean to counter our one party state with all that pro-Indy media brainwashing people? ;-)

Probably would be wasting their money if they backed one of the other parties given that 37 per cent of the electoral roll voting for you will give you massive majority in any first past the post contest. Might help buy tories, labour or libdems a few list seats?

    They do say:
“We’ll let the politicians deal with the politics. We’re not interested.”
