    So it is established that:
    - building more roads encourages more people to drive
    - building more parking encourage more people to drive

    And yet people will deny that building more cycle infrastructure encourages more people to cycle?

    Where's that thread about cognitive dissonance....

    Yeah, you need to wear spandex, polystyrene hats, and be super sporty and all that.

    Who wants to look like a weirdo with messed up hair, all sweaty? Instead you can just cruise in your motor wearing designer gear and shades like a veritable rock star.
