After a tough couple of weeks cycle campaigning this made me smile...

IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Hehe.
Try that on a steep hill, and see who gets to the top first...
Was a guy on a Brompton who used to occasionally fly past me on the way across North Bridge of a morning, legs pumping like steam pistons on the Mallard. Haven't seen him for ages.
The Brompton the buffoons choice of bike, if they were not so expensive I would pick one up my self
This may or may not cheer you up, still entertaining!
Heh. I was recounting at the Women's Cycle Forum how I once chased down a fairly serious looking cyclist on a big bike when I was on my Brompton (I was trying to catch up with him to ask him a question). He looked a bit horrified as I pulled up alongside him. It did nearly kill me though.
I also nearly overtook a cyclist on the Mound when I was walking up it pushing my Brompton, but decided that was probably a demoralisation too far. It makes me feel a bit less bad about never managing to get more than a quarter of the way up the Mound on my bike though
