I am not normally a fan of posting stuff without comment but in this case I am speechless.

"I am not normally a fan of posting stuff without comment"

I'm sure that's not a dig at me, though I probably do it more than most people on here.

I am conscious that this is a dilemma (for me).

I put stuff up 'for information' and other people to comment on (if they want to).

In some case the "comment" is the fact that I have posted it + (often) the 'tone' of the subject line!

    Wots the bright line rule?

Related to the Brighton Line Rule?

Sounds more like a Mornington (or Morningside) crescent rule to me.

It wasn't a dig at you, sorry.

Er, as it wasn't why apologise?

Even if it was, why apologise!

Well if you didn't think it was why defend yourself? :-P

I think I was agreeing that no comment posts were sometimes unsatisfactory.

It is more a sad reflection on the US health care system, or rather the total lack of a universal health care system, that an 87 year old has to sue a 4 year old in order to pay for her treatment. But that is what comes of having a "small state" and a "big society", something some people would like to introduce here.
