    Council getting tons of flak on their home page about this crossing. Usual EEN stuff - ambulances not getting through, posh area, traffic jams, cyclists to pay road tax et cetera et cetera et cetera

    eh? I haven't been through since it finished but can't see how it holds up ambulances?

    Zebra crossing has been in for a while and is looking great. Really helps with crossing the road at busy times.

    @stickman, the hope is you cannot extrapolate to reality but the worry is a lot of people got some bad stuff in their brains and feel entitled to let you know. The banjo player in the band I am in feels compelled to take them on. I like to show some support for him from time to time.

    The new crossing has finally been switched on completing a nice upgrade to QR6. The lights also change instantly which is handy - wonder if that'll stick around...
