Robert Llewellyn tries electric bikes, and loves them:

(Help chdot, that's coming out unviewable in my browser, and every way I try just quoting the URL in this post, the software recognises a youtube URL and auto-unviewable-ifies it!)

    Um,

Either you've sorted it, or YouTube wasn't working

    Or it's your browser...

@chdot I would note last week every time I clicked 'video download' under a YouTube clip I got a fullscreen porn advert and not a video download :-o

Crichton has great fun on an electric bike from a shop called fully charged. The owner goes with him and films him. They bomb around London and have a smashing time. Crichton will be buying an electric bike no doubt about it, he is smitten. They go over tower bridge, no cycle lane the fully charged owner pints out. The owner also suggests electric biking in London takes away all the aggro mental cycling. Crichton gives howl of pleasure on applying the accelerator ( the thrust from stop on an electric bike is briefly quite a fast sensation)

These are my subtitles for those who cannot see crichton

The predictive text is quite strong today too unless I am just writing more unpredictable gibberish that needs correcting (than usual gibberish)

Kryten not Crichton gembo. Unless that was the predictive text. Though there is a connection.

Sorry Murun Buchstansang you are absolutely correct I seem to have gone back to one of the source texts from red dwarf to lost in space to the admirable crichton to the tempest and then it is lost in the myths of time (pun not predictive)

<smug mode>I met Robert Llewellyn earlier this year. Not entirely coincidentally, I was collecting feedback from the public about e-bike test rides that day.</smug mode>

@Klaxon @chdot - Yikes that video download link is quite unpleasant. Looks like the download plugin is well out of date. But I've taken the liberty of changing the download link so it now directly links to youtube. (This has been bothering me for a while, as I often use browsers without youtube support).

So download video should be safe to click again.

    Ta

I just assumed it was directly from YouTube and unalterable.
