"The earth will end only when God declares its time to be over. Man will not destroy this earth."

That may well be true. The issue that concerns most people is whether their lifestyle will continue (and improve).

That is far less certain - with or without Climate Change.

Most people who believe in 'higher beings' seem to imagine that the future of the human race is the most important thing. Perhaps the congressman is more concerned about the planet rather than those using most of its resources(?)

He's right it not with in our power to destroy the Earth, it is to set back the course of evolution a couple of million years.

The Earth is a mere speck of dust in our ever-expanding universe. One reason why aliens don't bother visiting much.

Although I hear that as many as 16 Brompton riders will be in Waverley Station this Saturday. Could this be a sign?

    Cyclenationists?

I saw two lingerers on Sunday on the Meadows while I was out trying to make a sale with a tandem demo.

They had maps and matching folders. (And matching bikes too).

The man is clearly mad. If he were interviewed by a psychiatrist he would be thought to hold abnormal perceptions, be delusional, pompous, and grandiose. I call on whatever greater power to save us from such idiocy and lunacy, or at the very least keep him in America and revoke his passport and/or right to travel by ark or otherwise.
