  1. Amongst other things.

How on earth can there be space to add a full vehicle lane, but not a cycle path?

The clean air zones are the government's response to a UK Supreme Court ruling, which ordered it to take action to meet European limits on air pollution.

How will that work after Brexit??

"According to the AA, eight out of 10 drivers support action on clean air. But Mr King said many drivers believed low-emission zones were just money-making schemes."

Haha! Yeah right. Just like cycle lanes, bus lane cameras, restrictions on parking: basically anything that inconveniences drivers or, heaven forbid, penalises them, is a "money-making scheme" or "waste of money" or both...

The actual consultation document is not quite as mad as some of the media reports would have you believe. There is some good stuff on walking and cycling, but some terrible ideas such as allowing Ultra Low Emission Vehicles into bus lanes. No idea how the priority at traffic lights for ULEVs would work.

Anyway, does not apply to Scotland.
