IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Tipped them the wink at the barge that we are coming. Can we beat the record. Probably not.
The barge guy pretended to listen which was nice.
Tomorrow
Is there a theme for tomorrow's meetup?
Last month it was elephant bikes.
Did you know ... has an elephant bike.
May bring an e-bike for people to try. If I can be bothered.
Due to a resolution in daughter's lost jacket gate I will not be there really until 9a.m. Will hopefully still be swinging
Might come along just after 9, child drop-off going smoothly enough.
Pleasure to see people. Some new faces for me, and some old.
Good coffee at that canal and with cycling almost straight into the station and running through the station I caught my train as well! Yet to find out if I make my 9:30 meeting in Glasgow.
Post PY link dump:
* Machine Pix twitter feed
* Holiday house for rent in Walberswick, Suffolk.
I didn't get the chance to introduce myself to everyone but I was the last person to come just after 9am. Hello!
nice to meet you, wonder if Iain McR made it to the Antonine Wall?
Never saw the Antonine Wall, but did make it to the big wheel. Quick coffee, mystery meat hotdog and a flapjack then back home. Soaked to the bone.
Plus first front puncture in 6yrs since marathon pluses fitted. 108k by the time I got home, never made it to the office.
Oh well, at least it was the front tyre
I recognise the orange recumbent - met the owner at LB a while back and then again at PoP this year. Sorry I couldn't be there this time.
@urchaidh, nice property. The anchor pub nearby is good. The other one the Bell gets very busy at lunch with the tourists coming off the rowing boat ferry from Southwold. The anchor Still owned maybe by the same people who have the white horse in London Town (known as the Sloany Pony). Great walk down to Dunwich of Dynamo fame and the pub there The Ship is also good. Marsh harriers easy to spot and the little term this year was a highlight. The ice cream shop in Southwold is worth cycling over for. One thing I like about the river Blyth is that foot, cycling and rowing are all quicker than driving as cars have to go all the way in land to cross whereas we have a footbridge. Obviously the off road and even on road cycling down there is very good.
Also catching up on the chat. Tattie howlking is now largely mechanised. But each machine might have two pickers.
No great need for October break to pick taters. Rasps maybe still by hand?
October break keeps weans from being excluded of course
