CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Just found this in spam.
Wondered why it wasn't get much interest...
Replied in support of option B, with remark to move the cycle lanes further back from the junction more in line with option C.
Saw this on another thread a few days ago. I also went for option B as it keeps a direct cycle lane and tightens corner radii - slowing turning vehicles. It would also create some usable public space, no-one is going to sit in the middle of the traffic islands proposed in option A.
I assume option C was only thrown in to make up the numbers - who would want to see a roundabout created here?
B also, for the same reasons as above
I went for B too
Main issue I can see with B is that cyclists could be obscured from the line of sight of right turning traffic by the statue.
In the latest CCEWL update they say they've gone with Option A.
