Is there a PY tomorrow? Next Friday is in November... I might actually be out of bed and not faffing around the house in Autumn-weight fleece pj trousers wishing it was lighter outside in time to see more than one or two stragglers if so.

I've missed the last couple, so can be up and represent myself tomorrow.

I have a PV voucher burning a hole in my Lycra.

Ouch. Better get that out of its tiny, stretchy pocket.

I'm in, provided I get up early enough.

By "in time" for me means "not at 08:40 for once", so you might not have to get up super early...

I don't suppose you would consider taking delivery of the red glasses of betrayal to transport west? I don't know if I'll be out Balerno way this week or next...

@unhurt too much pressure unless well wrapped by you?

They would be v well-wrapped and I would indemnify you against any breakage. But it was only a notion, so no worries if not!

Ok on those provisos I will transport tthe glasses you gave to your brother instead of me :-) despite him suggesting his house was getting cluttered up with your stuff :-)

It IS a most unfair situation. I shall be having words with him. :-(

Nice to see folk for 8th birthday coffee / tea / etc. I must start getting up on time at least once a month.

Cheers @gembo for playing courier - I have informed your namesake that he must arrange to collect from you.

Good turn out. Nice to see unhurt, Morningsider, SRD, gembo, friskiffla, weezee, kaputnik & minikaputnik, piosad, Roibeard, and at least one other whose nom de plume I don't know.

Had a fun (but chilly) blast out of town fuelled by hot chocolate and gooey bun.

Didn't make it out of bed early this morning, so passed Gembo as I headed up Middle Meadow Walk.

Impressive leaving just behind Arellcat and Weezee.

@chrisfl - that's my experience of following Arellcat too. You start off following the red torpedo and find that within a minute or two it's become a barely-visible red dot in the distance.

"it's become a barely-visible red dot in the distance"

    Secret motor in the seattube.

    (Or maybe just caffeine.)

Does a torpedo have a seattube?
