Shame he wasn't saying this when he was in government, but more rejoicing in heaven etc etc.

We had a rifle range at school no one was ever injured or in any danger of being injured as far as aware, if used correctly not be danger, if used correctly in the centre of a town a diesel car may cause lung disease so possibly no way to use that safely in centre of town.

There's something deeply ironic about a former SNP government minister calling Donald Trump a climate change denier.

Tell me more about that £1.35bn bridge you just built that only allows people in cars to use it...

In fairness, he was Justice, not Transport nor Environment.

One of these days I'll learn the difference between Danny and Kenny.

The titles are pretty much irrelevant. The party decides on policies and they present a united front.

I thought that article was pretty good. & let's hope it's becoming more mainstream SNP thinking.

    Spokes bulletin 78 Early 2001

Former SNP transport spokesperson Kenny MacAskill castigated Labour [Herald 12.08.00] for only building one mile of trunk road a month – “miniscule in comparison to what is needed.” And of the earlier Trunk Roads Review, “all the roads are of equal priority, and any debate should be about timing.” [SP 4.11.99).
The Sunday Herald called the SNP “best friend of the road lobby” [7.11.99].
