There is a dangerous amount of ice at the junction of Queensferry Road and Maidencriag Crescent due to a burst water main. A cyclist could easily slip into the path of traffic if heading on to Queensferry Road from Maidencriag Crescent. Council have been told.

Restalrig Path slope up to Hawkhill Avenue is tacky with frost rather than icy and slidey.

  5. I love the way Tesco Express on Leith Walk empties their mop buckets into the road (now the cycle lane), which - on winter mornings - then freezes over as it just sits there.

I noticed this morning that someone appeared to have done the same on the on-pavement lane opposite Shrubhill. Lots of ice just by the bus-stop bypass before 7 this morning.

All of which leads me to wonder whether or not the new path will be gritted more frequently?
