    any opinions / experience?

    yellow forward or red rear

my suspect pro's on them are :

higher than the bar lights so perhaps not drowned out by people looking towards you when a car is behind you?

not blinding to other cyclists / pedestrians.

seems a lightweight option that can be fitted onto any garment
total hiviz / reflective jacket that can sometimes be overkill on warmer mornings or lighter return journey home -

or your best waterproof jacket has no hiviz on it.

    seem cheap enough of ebay?

It's a light like any other. If someone's paying attention it'll be as visible as any other. I find the proliferation of "safety gewgaws" irksome though - be safe with helmet lights, bar-end indicator lights, brake lights, tail lights, rucksack lights, Sam Browne belts with sewn-in LEDs and bike-symbol ground lasers. All so much security theatre.
