    Not only on the day, you have to keep wearing them until they fall apart. I've got five on just now (I'm short one, as I had to donate mine to Graeme Obree during POP 2).

    @HankChief said:
    "Also anyone fancy doing something from Granton/Trinity? Could just be the case of coming along NEPN to Russell Road and joining up with West Edinburgh..."

    I'm looking at this, probably starting from Victoria Park, then joining/pick-up points at 5 Ways, Crewe Toll bridge, Craigleith and meeting up with everyone else at Russell Road - always assuming the cycle paths are not being dug up ...

    Need to check possible timings before going too public !

    For those with smaller babies who'd rather not put them on a bike yet (especially if coming from further afield) we'll have some folk marching with babies in slings

    Flyers should be going out this weekend - and the handlebar flyers are ready and can be printed from the resource page on the website

    https://pedalonparliament.org/resources/

    Hopefully winter has finally gone away so now's the time to get out and start spreading the word

    Can fly the hundred or so bikes in office basement. People do just fling them on the floor. Some bikes still hAve last year's flyer on them. But a couple of people read them and attend.

    8 councillors, 13 MSPs and 2 MPs all invited to our feeder ride.

    Of course, since I did this during the holidays, I've received ~20 "out of office" replies.

    when we surveyed people about how they found out about POP, handlebar flyers were quite frequently cited...

    I like a proper leaflet, if only we had co-ordinated and they could have been part of the flymo hunger games swap.

    I've just printed out a few handlebar flyers on the ofice machine. If I can get them prepared before this evening I'll do the bikes at the Commonwealth Pool.

    I've also done the Haymarket bike racks in previous years. Is anyone else able to do this, or shall I do them again? I pass through quite early and come back around 6 so I'm sure there are bikes there that I miss.

    @fimm I can do any leftovers at Haymarket at lunchtime, or you can do any fresh ones there in the evening, if we can co-ordinate.

    I'll do Waverley again this year and whatever I pass when wandering at lunchtime as soon as I get more printer ink.

    Map of shops where flyers (and posters soon) are available https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1IC-5FIX_hjVk5G_A76r4LJeLwUcnU_zm&ll=55.94695971218033%2C-3.2055681625977286&z=11

    The green ones have large stacks for onward distribution.
    If any look like they're getting low, let us know

    My office-printed flyers look rubbish. I'll get rid of them anyway. Do the shops on the map have handlebar flyers? Or can I arrange to meet someone to get some?

    Wingpig that sounds good.

    Handlebar flyers are print-at-home only - are you having problems printing them Fimm? Or did you mean the posters?

    Handlebar flyers. My office-printed ones are badly printed. I may have to steal some of my husband's printer ink...

    I've printed and cut up some more flyers in the office, rubbish printer or not. Will do the bikes at the Commie this evening, all being well, and will then try to do a run at the Haymarket bikes sometime this week.

    Took me an embarrassingly long time to stop trying to make the printer do double sided and just print out a bunch one way and put them back in the paper tray then print the other side...

    I am ready for handlebar flyering and tooled up for F2F now

    I can't find the guillotine I used last year and suspect it didn't survive the office reshuffle last autumn, so I'll do some scissoring then head to Waverley.

    @fimm I can do Weds/Thu/Fri lunchtimes at Haymarket this week if you can do an overlapping evening...

    EEN shock failure to research/write a balanced article:

    • repeated references to a certain 'Ms Harding';
    • 'politicians across all parties have also previously taken part including Minister for Transport Humza Yousaf, Labour's Kezia Dugdale, Greens co-convener Patrick Harvie, Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie and multiple Conservative councillors', as if multiple councillors from other parties haven't also taken part.

    Did the bikes at the Commie yesterday.
    Came in on the big bike today but was thinking of doing Haymarket tomorrow (Wednesday) after work if you like wingpig?
