IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Good luck getting out of them in a spill....
I've never seen them fitted on drop bars before.
Interesting....
Nah. What happens in strong sidewinds? You'd still need normal glubs on underneath to prevent sudden chills when signalling. If it rained the rain would still run down your sleeves but would pool at the bottom and make your bar tape go all mouldy.
Lots of people abuse the motorcycle equivalent (handlebar muffs) on style grounds... but lots of hill farmers pay good money for them and most professional riders wouldn't contemplate winter without them.
Frankly brilliant on a motorbike. (esp combined with heated grips, Mmmmmm lovely ;-))
However... on a bicycle I tend to find the exercise keeps me warm (even my hands despite mild white finger) so not needed for the sort of cycling I do, so far!
