CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Nicley timed for consideration by participants in Pedal on Parliament. Thanks, SPICe.
There's a superb, new @ScotParl briefing: Cycling - What works?
It's impartial yet reads like a manifesto for cycling because the evidence of impact/benefits is extensive. This is required reading for all MSPs, councillors and decision makers.
"As opposed to inconveniencing other road users and making cyclists even more unpopular, this pointless event could have a purpose if the rabble could be addressed by a road safety lecturer instead of Mr. Beaumont, covering basics like "traffic lights" and "pavements", both universally abused by pedalistas."
Whew! I'm really glad no motorists need any road safety lecturer to cover the same basics for them !
[irony to OFF]
I suppose they think the motorist should be allowed to inconvenience themselves. After all it's only other cars which cause traffic.
