    Was it my imagination yesterday or are there now advanced green cycle lights on this?

    No, you're right, they were installed yesterday. You now get ~1.5s head start.

    Still no pedestrian crossing on 3/5 roads at that junction, though.

    Much as the advance cycle lights are appreciated, the head-start time given to cyclists is pretty measly; < 2 seconds is barely enough time to get going for some cyclists, and since it's such a short time, drivers will just start moving off when the cycle light comes on (as is the case for I'd estimate 50% of drivers on Leith Walk).
