Done. I put in the point about motorised traffic reductions creating a virtuous cycle where it makes cycling safer and more pleasant.

Response to the request for a review of the FOI has come in. Success!
So, in summary:
Number of police officers (total staff) as of 27th March:
Edinburgh - 1826 (2685)
Glasgow - 3148 (4491)Number of parking spaces at police stations (as % of officers/all staff):
Edinburgh - 533 (29%/20%)
Glasgow - 764 (24%/17%)So even if all parking spaces at police stations is reserved for police officers, and even accounting for night shifts etc., it seems likely that the majority of police officers are not currently able to park at work.
Thanks again to Arellcat for suggesting asking for a review.

Have YOU responded to the workplace parking levy survey? This is where much of the funding for the city centre transformation will come from. Make it clear that it isn't "the hated SNP car park tax".

I'd be genuinely interested to hear Ms Davidson's plans for the tax system. As someone who has only briefly worked in the private sector she presumably accepts that taxes are necessary for a functioning public sphere? Which ones does she favour? Would she like more or fewer people to drive to work?

4,568.2 million in transfer payments for NHS and teacher pensions. A bit of an anti-diversity payment in a sense as taxed from a broad diversity of tax payers and given to fairly narrow section of society. It may be better if some sort of equality impact assessment in much of the Govs spending
A slight issue with any government transfers is that may be transfers from diverse groups to a less diverse public sector be it in employment, pensions or out sourced activities if not well considered

WPL has successfully made it through the Committee stage and will be in the Bill.
Narrow vote of 6-5 in favour. Richard Lyle of Labour changed his mind and voted in favour.

Whilst Scottish Labour continue their opposition to WPL, Labour led Birmingham Council are investigating it...

Labour still very anti WPL.
They do now think business rates should stay controlled by Holyrood though, which is odd as anti-SNP argument promoted by unionist parties is that there is not enough local tax raising - ie too centralised by Edinburgh.
ScotGreens very keen to allow business tax rates to vary according to the differing needs across Scotland.
Lobbying by big business though persuaded SNP/Lab/Con that the poor dears couldn't cope with variable business rates. You have to laugh - try buying stuff in a currency with no fixed value. edit: The LibDems sided with Greens.
Anyway this new private school tax raiser will be disliked by friends of BJ but very in line with Green views.

MacKay has been sexting a 16 year old boy and it would seem the Sun have been sitting on the details to topple him right before the budget.
