Receive £10 off your Standard All Day Ticket to a Cyclist Track Day with code ‘EFC35’ (usually £45).

It is clearly an event aimed at serious cyclists, are there any here?

Fife Cycle Park is a remarkable facility and the fact it is here is testament to the local authorities and Sport Scotland who faced fierce criticism from NIMBY councillors.

It is far from being a 'sport' focussed location with the main aim being as a community facility. There are open sessions which are relatively cheap and bike hire is available.

As panyagua mentions, Dunfermline Cycling Club hold two sessions a week for members with the Tuesday firmly focussed on recreational riders (group riding etiquette, bike handling, even basics such as drinking from a bottle whilst riding!) and Thursday aimed at those who compete.

The club also open these sessions to non-members once a month as a try and see.

The 'Club' aspect aside, it's a brilliant place to take the kids where they can whizz around on the grippiest and smoothest tarmac you'll ever ride on!

Plans were also afoot for a similar facility in Linlithgow spearheaded by West Lothian Clarion although not sure how far progressed that is at present.
