“ 'Serious concern' over decline in UK car manufacturing ”

Debt, death weapons, and dangerous vehicles.
Very sadly, three of the main "pillars" of the UK economy.
Can't we broaden our economy to make or do more sensible things, like some other countries?
(The notable irony that while our railway and tramway networks are now fortunately growing fast, from having once led the world in this area, we now no longer have our own rolling stock manufacturers.)
