Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Strange how when 20,000 attended the climate strike march, they didn’t feel the need to bring 50 odd cars & vans on to the Meadows
Honestly, you should see the amount of vehicles driving on the Meadows & associated bike paths now...
Campervans, cars, vans & several cars towing billboard trailers
Disgraceful
Can interact here I'm sure.

Did not spot any greens in the many pictures my new internet friend took of the march. She is with the Saor Alba group I think. Many Catalan Flags, The Silent Clansman standing beside the small quite bonkers looking fringe group of union flag and union Brolly wielding protestors.
Park where you like in an independent Scotland? I guess would have needed team of traffic wardens preventing? When one person trying to avoid paying the meter sees one other person getting away with it they join in (that is just people in general not pro Indy like me or anti Indy like me the last time)
Back on the Open Streets - not a great day for it alas, may clear up this afternoon?
“may clear up this afternoon?”
Will.
1/2” of rain overnight,
Correction, @jdanielp was there
@gembo I attended as a relatively incognito Green (to the point that I was identified as being 'badgeless' and offered an SNP badge), although I did spot someone I didn't know in an official SGP hoodie but no banners.
The 'march' was led by a massive group of motorbikers just to add to the car parking and associated controversy.
I went along with Mrs LB.
Despite an overabundance of Saltires there were flags and banners from NHS Scotland, anti Fracking, anti Trident, pro LGBT and others. We walked behind one guy with a bike at one point and young couples with buggies. Spoke to a woman with her Orkney flag and father and young son - second ever march.
I heard many accents not from Scotland (ie rUK and beyond!) - it felt bigger than last year's event.
The bikers did make a carbon contribution of course as did the over parked Meadows. We reckon though that many came by bus and train and lots walking to start.
It was more a street occupation than march for some of the time. Crammed in on Cannongate for long time as cars and buses had to get across. Took from 1pm to 3 pm to get to George IV Bridge. Mrs LB went to end looking for her ex Labour pal Eilleen.
Numbers don't really matter - photo evidence tells the story. Only hostility to march was the pro 'partnership' demo of around 20.
