Had biblongs on this morning and gloves with long fingers

Was chilly out by Murder farm now for sale 40 acres and a corpse, or two going cheap

My CHIMPEUR top arrived from Norn Irn so now I am like a Grimpeur but with more bananas

It is made from recycled plastic and is very warm. Maybe best not go near the stove with it as might melt.

@Bill. No, as was pretty late when going to office - 0930ish, so slightly warmer. Suspect tomorrow onwards they may make an appearance. That said I am currently cradling a hot water bottle at my desk.

Yep, courts can be very human places. The one time I was selected for a jury, turned out the Crown's star witness was the fella's wee gran who promptly denied everything in her copious police statements. Put the deputy PF into quite a tizz

My pal who is criminal lawyer (never lost a case as he makes you plead guilty) once had the son in witness box and he just went on instinct.

Thanks wee lad for saying this, is it maybe a fib

    Kid bubbling

Crime lawyer Did your dad tell you to say it

    Kid nodding through the tears

My pal’s only ever petrocelli moment

Usually just murder farms and no wee donkeys

@bill: Fascinating stuff. I note that the OS map shows a location named "Baad Park" near to West Cairns Farm, on the south shore of Harperrig Reservoir. I wonder if that could be a remnant of Mr Cameron's gangsta past? (Or am I getting my argots muddled?)

Ba’ad Park is where the Chief Womble resides, of the clan Lang Whang Wombles of which I am Womble who keeps Ainville section tidy. He has added an entire perpendicular extension to the original dwelling so is maybe go8ng for some air BnB wombles? Also some barbed wire on his lovely balcony to deter Toerags who are frequent. Slightly detracts from the ambience. The actual Cairns Castle Farm rents various properties and seems to have built a big hall for weddings? You used to be able to hire a rowing boat and now there is usually a bit of paddle board action. At Colzium about a mile up the nicely surfaced road the Scottish gun club have a clubhouse. Iwrats and I paid them a visit last Sunday, bit of arm flapping which made us laff.

Back to Ba’ad Park - At the far west corner of Uncle Bulgaria’s garden there is a gravestone to Job Ridder (1949-1998) inscribed by his family as a Fantastic Human Being. Not quite as good as Royal Tennebaum’s inscripton. Nonetheless moving. The stone is a massive monolith. A little further west you come to a failed bird hide. Has various wasp nests and last time I was there we had to close all the shutters as the dummKophs who had been in before had left them open. Go visit as it will fall down soon, the very tops of the peaks on the wee islands are visible again.

Management has been complaining about my shorts for a few days. Shorts, t shirt and Vans still working for me.

The pool requires us to be "beach ready" on arrival which means swimmers under your trousering. You take off your outer habiliments at the side of the pool and leave your kit on a chair. Seems easier in shorts.

Probably go there on a green '77 Raleigh Stowaway tomorrow morning. It has a working twist grip which I don't hate. It also has steel rims which don't work well in the rain. It was in school two weeks ago. It was the first day the pool opened, I had to go straight after school and needed something which wouldn't get nicked. Even in Coatbridge.

Number 2 son has been scooting around Airdrie and Coatbridge on my red late '70s Kingpin. I need to put a new three speed trigger on his folding Triumph Traffic Master (it's a rebranded Twenty).

Picked up some old stuff from the Common Wheel in Maryhill today.

@gembo made it down after work - wave power was amazing, was under water a good few times but felt fab- a kind man named Hendry looked after my clothes and bike lights- dark very quick and feet were cold. Went in again sat at 11 and will do sun at high tide- I cycle and swim but please don't mention the other word- because I can not.
